Daniel Walker

Senior Architect – BA(Hons) Dip Arch PG Cert

Dan is a highly experienced architect that joined the team in 2016. Throughout his career Dan has worked on and delivered a wide variety of high profile projects. His experience covers education, residential, mixed-use, industrial and leisure sectors. Notable projects include The Brunel Museum and The Heritage Dockside Boatyard refurbishment in Bristol’s floating harbour.

Dan is responsible for early stage concept design and technical delivery of our residential portfolio. This includes private residential houses, multi-unit residential developments and permitted development conversions across the UK. He is adept at computed based design, jumping between presentation and concept models and building information models with ease. This allows ideas to be tested both aesthetically, spatially and technically at the earliest stages of a project.

In addition to the more interesting building of designing architecture Dan is also responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure. This includes researching new systems for delivering projects more efficiently. Dan also enjoys working up his own portfolio of smaller scale residential projects through his own business enterprise Hook Architects Ltd.

When he’s not working Dan enjoys playing the drums. Word on the street is that he is about to form a new band. Watch this space!
